fug it, i think im going to exchange the 360 ive been having some problems with and a few bucks to get it. Probally do it in the next few days, ill post up my results.

picture quality on HDMI will be no better than component

its a little brighter and more clearer on my tv. ive used the component cables and the hdmi looks better.

this wont help you too much, but they should be dropping prices of the 360 soon to compete with new price drops of ps3

Just got one..noticed a pretty big difference going from the monster cable component set-up to hdmi. Dont see how im ever going to use this much memory.

The old 360 i had was freezing up and glowing red when i turned it on..

The PS3 price drop is a faux. The 60 gig will fade away like the 20, leaving the 80 to suffer a miserable death because of shitty execs.

HDMI can look better than component, but it's not always a guarantee.*with any HD player*
