3512D or fully loaded BTL?

I was thinking of getting a DD 9512 but our local store has it for $700+ now. Local prices here for the DD 3512D are about mid-$400 to $500, depending on voice coil configuration. A fully loaded 12" BTL is gonna cost me about a little more than $500 and I believe it'll be worth the slightly extra cash. You guys think so? I wanna know if anyone's listened to both subs. I've only heard the DD's. I'm an SPL lover so louder is better for me.

anyways, you can always get a Audioque HD312 for $370 new shipped with a 2 year warranty unless you're planning on giving it more then 2500wrms then the BTL would be a great choice...

Spl wise- BTL and since your an spl lover then go with the BTL. Try looking for DDs in the classifieds, ive seen some 95s for sale in the 450 range and shippin would bout eaqul it out. Dont comprimise, get what YOU want.

Gonna have 2000watts for it when I decide to buy. Currently have a 2 cube box @ around 34Hz or 35Hz that this will go in, but I was thinking building a new box that's tuned a little lower.

2000watts RMS on a .5ohm load, and I know for a fact my amp is slight overrated, so that would translate to >2k, right?
