Well it sucked waiting it out, but was good in the long run.
My first little girl was born earlier this morning at 130am. She ended up being 8.49lbs and 22 inches long. She had to be taken c-section though becuse my fiance would not dialate. Good thing because I just dont know if I could have seen a 14cm head crowning my fiance. I probably would have passed out!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

We named her Ireland Elizabeth, Ireland after my heritage and she is part Irish and Elizabeth after my mother.

The 32 hours was well worth it, just sucks watching your loved one in so much pain. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/pissed.gif.9f665f96bc89e98e708dabd4580bb591.gif

Kinda strange being home alone watching sports center and washing a bunch of pink recieving blankets and a shit ton of other pink stuff, lol!

I know some probably could care less, but I am just so happy to have a healthy baby girl. Amazing to say the least!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Thats great to hear!

Kirs, were you drinking last night or something, lol!

Thanks again for the kind words. She is now a little over 5 months old now and like I said, she is giving me a run for my money.

Is a lot of fun most of the times, but won't lie can be quite frustrating at times. All that goes away when they smile though. I have a huge pic of Icteebone blown up and when she cries I show her that and she starts laughing and I swear she says WHATA RETARD! True story!

Anyway, thanks again.

Lol, like I said, some people like it, some don't.
Also I know you are joking, but all I know is it does scare me what it will be like when she is our age. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

In all seriousness, I have read a couple studies about income differences between blacks with atypical names and blacks with typical names. I haven't seen anything conclusive when it comes to whites.

"The Causes and Consequences of Distinctively Black Names." Quarterly Journal of Economics, 2004, 119(3), pp. 767-805. (with Fryer, Roland G., Jr.)

some nice reading material

Personally, I think the name is nice. But I would never name my child that because it may limit future income possibilities.

I know I'm late, but Congratulations BB. My second just turned one last month, both girls. And even though it sounds kind of cheesy, they saved my life. I was living a real hard life until my first came along, and made me get my priorities in order.

I'm one of the ones who likes it. Both of my girls have irish names.

I will take that into mind, but I never have known a name to keep you from income possibilities.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Thanks mang! Yeah it deffintley makes you straighten out your priorities.

Good to see someone else is stuck with nothing but girls on here, lol! I keep telling my Fiance that she will be a Tomboy because I need someone else besides my couple shit grinning buddies to watch football with. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
