32 hertz, 37 hertz, or 40 hertz?

If you want louder to the ear just do what phoenix said. I had a 15 tuned to 33 and it would play nasty down to about 25 (mind you i had some extra spiders but wutever) and it still played up high pretty flat. I have my Z 12 in 32 hz right now and she plays low and high. Its retarded on the low notes actually. The way you have that port to the side there's good odds that it loads down much lower than your tuning on paper. Have you put this on a termlab/RTA?

I would agree that 40hz is plenty capable if you have some decent subs that can hold up when the port starts to unload. I'm playing with mid 30 tuning now in a temp box and I'm not impressed and I know it would be dismal on the meter.

If you ONLY listen to screwed and chopped and pipe organ music tune super low, otherwise I find most music sounds better tuned higher....really anything under 30hz and a conventional woofer isn't even terribly efficient at reproducing it no matter what you do so I feel it's kind of a waste of effort to put so much effort into it.
