310 with the new ipod interface

can the IVA-D310 work with the new alpine interface, just the cable, or do I have to buy the 420 box thing?

no you need the 420....unless they updated it for 06 so it can...either way if its an 05 or older you need the adapter...i have one i might sell if your interested...
