hello guys...i was hoping you guys could reccomend to me an amp no more than $500 which can push 2 12" 4ohm subs with about 250-300 watts....thanks for the help

Crutchfield has it for $499, authorized dealers elsewhere can provide better deal

sorry bear with me....does that mean if i wire the 2 subs for 2ohms...they would be getting 300w each ?

They will share the ouput power if they are wired together to 2 ohms, yes. So if the amp puts out 600x1@2 ohms then each 4 ohm sub will get 300 watts.

The JBL GTO 601.1 and the BP-600.1 will also do what you want for a lot less money.
