3000w to new XXX

sorry to bother with another question like this...

could the new 12" XXX subs from RE handle 3000 watts RMS each, for music/daily driver? i want to run a single XXX 12 with 3000 watts.

i've heard they can take this--is that true?

I don't know about daily, but i've never had any experience with them

The new new ones might....but I had an 07' 12" RE XXX....and I ran one of my sundown saz 3000d's to it and it didn't like it one bit....got hot, and did it fast...maybe 30 seconds... had my whole car smelling of voice coil for about 3 days..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

I ran it at 4 ohm for 800 watts, it still got extremely loud and never got hot once. But it didn't like my 3K at 1 ohm.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
