if it's not a VR-4 good luck, b/c the regular 3000GT has tons of problems and parts are extremely hard to run by unless it's the VR-4

I had one when I was 16.

1991 VR-4.

I killed it with the quickness.

3000GT bodies are HEAVY, so anything less than a VR-4 is going to be underpowered.

From what I hear, they're horrible on clutches.

And if you don't keep up on maintenance they get bad... quick.

So if you got one where the owner didn't keep up on it, you ight have a bad time.

But this is just from what I've read and what not.

That picture is for SC300/400's... not a 3KGT.

VR-4's make plenty of power, and have awd to put it to the pavement.

friend of mine had one with ton of upgrades, not really sure what it all had but its was a nice car... there was 4 of us in the car ~200lbs a person and that thing was still stupid fast... i think he just sold it for 6.5k it was real nice...

I REALLY miss mine!!!!

it was an SL (not turbo FWD) but I made it AWD and slapped a stock twin turbo kit on the N/A motor and blew the doors off all the other 3KGT's and Stealths and quite a few other cars as well... I would trade ANY of my current cars to have it back!! Has some pretty neat stuff, like the computer controlled exhaust and areodynamics. Not to mention whoes think they are lambos or some shit! They are on teh heavy side, coming in around 3800lbs depending on options and such but 320~ HP form teh factory and it is EASY and reletively cheap to get to the 500HP mark. Just turboing my N/A motor with all stock VR4 stuff got me over 300 at the wheels. switched out injectors, added boost, had the exhaust done up and got it tuned and ended up with 402AWHP when it was said and done... All for about $1500~

NA 3KGT's made 161-200 hp depending on the configuration.

TT 3KGT's made 300 hp 91-93 and 320 hp from 94 on.

Weight (they were PIGS at the time of production!)

NA- Between 3300lbs and 3500lbs.

TT- Between 3600lbs and 3700lbs.
