$300 for 1000w

Need some help on choosing a good 1000w amp @2ohms. Not really looking to spend more than around $300. Normally I would just go with what I know works but with so many options out right now I thought I'd see what's good out there.

I hear good things about the Aq 1200, Soundstream, Sundown ect. but I have never actually heard any of these. I've had expereince with a few other brands at this power Kicker, Hifonics, JL, and even Sony. I feel I'm getting a little rusty on my car audio game so any help would be nice.

the aq's are solid built amps but your going to see a bit less than 1000w at 2 ohms off a 1200d. Sundown 1500 is a nice amp too but a used one is going to cost you more than the aq brand new.

FYI,

You can get a brand new kicker off an ebay internet dealer for almost 100 less than he's offering his used one for.

you might wanna adjust that price i got a zx2500 for 475. Also ive seen kx2500 go for as low as 390

Kicker zx1000.1 will be right around your price range and will do more than rated power. Sundown is a good choice also. I think they rate their amp at 13.8 volts, but I could be wrong. Either way those are both very solid amps. You might even consider a zx750.1 and is very underrated. My makes either 930 or 940 watts (cant remember) and would be a little cheaper than the zx1000.1

^^true on the kicker 750.1. Mine was tested at like 940 watts @ 2 ohms.

ED Nine.1 is rated at 900@2 ohms and I believe they rate those at 12.4 volts so with good electrical you should see at least 1k and they are only $295 brand new.
