I had the SLC Kicks for a little while and liked them alot, then I found a good deal on a set of CMX 265's, and I loved those.

I voted for that set.

CDT Eurosport series

Pheonix gold TI Elite series

Boston Pro Series

All are in your price range and super hi end comps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

I personally run Zapco C2K comps and they are by far the best set of comps I have ever heard, good luck finding them even online for less than $600 though, they retail for $1200. Now I might just maybe have a set of 5.25's and another set of 6.5's in my closet I would be willing to get rid of for about that $300 price. The midbass on these is unbelievable! Sometimes I will run around on some songs without the subs case they kick so well, plus they handle a ton of power. I currently run 180 wrms (Zapco power) and they are no where near strained. It is an nearly unknown set of comps but CA&E put them in the top 5 best sets they had ever heard when they did the review last year! lmk
