Hi, I've got a 1966 Dodge Coronet that I'm looking to get a new stereo for. I'm looking for something simple, a head unit and two 6x9's in the back. And yeah, my budget is $300 (not much more). I don't know a ton about car audio so I was hoping you guys could help.
For the receiver I was looking at these two:

http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-DEH-P5000UB-Dash-iTunes-Receiver/dp/B0011MRCT8/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1230490541&sr=8-1
Are there better ones out there for that price and which one of those is preferable?
For speakers I was looking at these two:

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SPR69C/Alpine-SPR-69C.html?tp=91
However I am concerned that these would be hard to drive given their 2 ohm rating. Would this be a problem with the two head units I had listed? If it is, what other good speakers are there?
I listen to rock music and I like to listen to it fairly loud, but not thumping loud. Bass is pretty important but I don't need too much.
Thanks for the recommendations.
