the prs comps are nice. ull like them. but i like the jbl's better. 60ndown good recommendations. all comps are very nice choices. the jl's not so much as other two though =]

The pio's are MUCH better than you give them credit for. They are just not the NAME you are used to hearing, but in reality do you listen to the name? The woofers distortion numbers are VERY good.

If he's not bi-amping them, I'd be much more worried about the crossover design for $300 than the woofer's distortion numbers.

Good choice on the Premiers. I like them more and more every time I hear them.

The Pioneers sound great, but a little "dead" in IMO. As for the Zapcos, I have run the C2k's and the Ref (reds) in two vehicles and they are friggin awesome. NOTHING IMO can beat the C2k's if you have the coin.
