Perhaps you should watch all the Star Wars movies and pick a quote that you like the best. That way, you can't go wrong if it's a quote directly from the movie.

One of the most untrue statements I have ever heard. All of my friends that smoke weed did so before trying cigarettes or alcohol.
I find that hard to believe. Almost every kid I knew that eventually ended up in the drug scene drank alcohol at a young age and smoked tobacco, and by this I don't mean a pack a day like a regular smoker.

Gateway drug is just yet another term used to brainwash the people. The reason people who end up using Methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and what not usually DO smoke weed first because where the **** is a kid just out of the blue going to find a Meth dealer? Just jump straight to the hard shit? No, he smokes weed, and eventually finds someone to acquire the drugs he decides to do. If you don't have the willpower to decide not to use a drug then you deserve the affects of abuse. Use everything in moderation.

I used to smoke all day every day, and if I wanted to I could have abused any drug I wanted to, I had the money and the connects but decided against it. Not saying I haven't experimented with any but I knew my limits and once I try something, its time to move on.

Moderation is key.. gateway is bullshit. end of story.

And for those of you who want to say Marijuana is a gateway drug, do you know how people start doing harder drugs than marijuana? Their Dealers introduce them to harder drugs or make them accessible at the very least. So if marijuana were to be legalized, people wouldn't have the access to harder drugs when they got their weed because they would be buying it from the marijuana dispensary or gas station around the corner. Not to mention, legalizing it would decrease the violence involved with trafficking and selling/buying marijuana.

Yep. If only it was so easy. No way it's going to be legalized soon because if the government cant make money off it, it's not going to happen. Cannabis can be grown at any time of the year, anywhere, under the harshest conditions, by a kid, and can be harvested 12 months a year. It's a weed, literally.

I think it could still be taxed very heavily. It could remain illegal to cultivate, which will prevent people from going crazy in growing it. Also, despite how easy it is to grow it, it still takes time and patientence, which a lot of people lack.
