i also have an eclipse cd player with 8 volt output but its a dead head so it has to have amps in order to use it but it has very clean sound this is a very nice unit i just want something that plays mp3 so i will sell this unit for 150.00 or i will trade for a nice mp3 unit but please no cheap wal mart junk
