What's up with 3-Way components? I was looking into getting some Focals, and seen these things. What would you need to power them properly? Would you just run the normal 2 channels for your fronts, or would you want to use 4 channels on them to do them justice?

Here's some info:

Focal 165 K3 3-Way Seperate System

3-way separate system (replace 165 EX model).

165mm (6-1/2") wooofer,

40mm (1-3/8") v.coil,

100mm (4") magnet.

120mm (4-3/4") midrange, 25mm (1") v.coil, 85mm (3-3/8") magnet.

TN 45 tweeter.

3-way separate crossover 18 dB/oct. (300Hz, 3.5kHz) with adjustable tweeter and midrange level.

Max. power handling: 200W.

Nominal, power handling: 100W.

Sensitivity (2.8 V/1m): 92.5dB.

Frequency response:

50Hz-20kHz.

They come witha psssive X/O so you can do it with a two channel.. i know a guy at one of my favorite local shops running 150 continuous..not the three was but it is still rediculously loud..so start with 100x2 amp..then go up if it isnt enough..Use the tweet and midrange in kicks but buid or buy an enclosure for the midbass up fron tsomewhere..in the door in the floor or whatever.
