3 subs... which ones?

iight..... a friend of mine wants to run 3 subs off a jbl 1200....... which subs would be the best 70/30 spl sq ratio...... budget is 220 per sub .... sealed enclosure.... he wants to knock out sumbody runnin 3 memphis hpos off a 1000d memphis........

what subs would do the job?

any help appreciated.

I think he would blow them away with 3 shocker ss 15;s and they are 85$ shipped mostly when you cand find them....but what about brahmas? arent they like 220$ per 10? what about dd?

remember to keep in mind what ohm load you're gonna be able to have and what ohm load you want to have.....very very important

3 x DVC2ohm = 1.34ohm or 3ohm load

3 x DVC4ohm = 2.67ohm load

3 x SVC4ohm = 1.34ohm load

3 x SVC8ohm = 2.67ohm load

Keep that in mind.

How much are the EDA? I would personally go with 3 dvc 2ohms subs...and run the amp in the 1.34ohm load if it can handle that hopefully yes and max out the power....what about DD?

The 15" SE's are around $180ish.

So the 10's and 12's will be a little bit less.
