Haha, I know how that goes all too well. Maybe get some lower power, more efficient subs while keeping the same amount of power you have planned.

Im a feelgood story type of guy, so when NOLA wins, I'm cool with it! I dont have an NFC fav team really.

And @ Ryan, I would love find six L7 10's, I think I could do bigger #'s with them than three X 12's. Any input on that?

I love good competition. I have a router Dave but I have no idea how to use it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I dont even have bits. I got to thinking about something kind of unique with my 10" pvc, it could work quite well... but i'll need to figure out how to flare 4" worth of mdf with a jigsaw or fixed base entry level router :laughs:

Flaring 4" worth of MDF will be quite a challenge no matter what you use. You could try cutting each piece individually at a 45degree angle (on the inside to meet the pvc), with each piece getting bigger in diameter to match the inner pieces, then join them together after. I hope that made sense. Probably have a bit of sanding to do after, but might work out okay for you.

that is waht i thought of doing as well, each piece indy. and yes alot of sanding... who knows. its all a dream right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I have everything to do two 12's in it so I may do that and see what I have for #'s, and then maybe build a three 12 box with some odd port setup.

no idea, i am playing with some #'s on bassbox pro 6 here at work, and still need to run rca's/ground/batts/remote pretty much everything aside from the dual 0g i already have in it... then i'll decide. probably start with one sub and one soundstream 2000d @ .5, then strap up two of them to it @ 1 ohm each (dual 1 sub seriesed up to 2 for the strap). Then do two subs with two the two SoundStream 2000d's @ .5ea, then maybe try the two Orion 2500d's I have @ .5 in comparison, see which set of amps is stronger. i compete in dbdrag & iasca. 1st of all get rid of the optimas. get some real good batts. (deka intimidators, kinetic, powermaster, north star) if you are running limited power, running the subs in tubes will reduce the imp. rise. i run a pr of warden 12s & 2 40.1s doing 155.9 legal on the dash.

thx... i'm going to run what I brung for now, the Optimas are what I have so until I know a bit more about the future its what I'll be using. If I have to put three or four in there I will!
