I recently purchased a 3.sixty.1 through my work for a number of reasons, but mainly for SQ purposes and I need to keep the original head unit.

Aside from that though. My installer was saying that I could not install it in my car for one main reason. From my stock head unit I have a full range output. The 3.sixty requires high-level input. I was wondering if the front left and right inputs on the 3.sixty would accept the full range signal then output to an amp without any issues. It just does not make sense to me why I could not just use a LOC to the 3.sixty.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. The car is an '03 Hyundai Santa Fe.

The 3sixty.1 is an LOC. You can run low-level (RCA) inputs or high-level (speaker wires) inputs.

so am i kinda outta luck and cannot use the 3sixty? thats kinda ironic that its for keeping your original head unit and it wont even let me do that.

Why won't it? Run the high-level output from your factory head unit into the high-level input on the 3sixty.1.

i just talked to an RF tech support guy and he told me that I could connect the full range straight into the high level input and not have any issues. Their tech support is great and very responsive. None of that outsourcing bulls**t.

i hope for a while. RF is a great company and i hope they dont make the major coporate leap to outsource. any company that does really loses my respect.
