Rear fills aren't always necessary if you have a good setup up front, like kick panels with plenty of power to the speaks, but rear fills might be a good idea. You could probably get away with just powering them w/ the HU though

well, will people riding in the back be able to aquedately here my highs/mids with only the front stage setup?

The imaging would be way off and would require a time correction. Not to mention the crossover wiring would be way long.

Just use them for the front and use the Front channel to setup the components.

They include a rear one for a set of Rear speakers!

Not if the imaging of the front stage is good. Where are the comps going? Factory locations? And what kind of car?

its a 1991 mercedes 190E 2.6 the mids would be going into the front door panels, and the tweets would either go somewhere on the dash, or near there.

I don't think with 2 JL W6's it would matter anyways, let them eat cake!

If you care about the peeps in the rear buy some rear speakers.

Depends on the vehicle. Usually try the A pillar, the door panels, etc...just experiment with it and see what sounds best. I would install the comps before buying rears and then if it doesn't sound right w/o rears, buy them then
