Alright so you can do like 275 for a pair of 12"s. That leaves you with 75 dollars for a custom box. I am sure you can find an amp that puts out 1000w for 150. 4G wiring kit should only be around 50 bucks as well.

Im thinking, the sx series are a little expensive, perhaps the se series ?

Edit: you can go for 2 RE SE 12" for about 300 dollars if you want to up ur budget a lil bit. Build your own box, so all you have to pretty much pay for is the sheet of MDF

Good suggestion. If you can build your own box then you can still have around 250 for subwoofers after materials and the design for hte box. That gets my vote.
And on a budget, I'd say four Kicker Comp VR 12's on a Hifonics 1606 or something like that, maybe two 12" Type R's on the same power...?

Depends on how much of that room back there you want to give up.

And out of your choices, if you absolutely have to go that way - I'd take the Kickers.

Room is not a problem at all. I have plenty and its a lwb so fold the seats down and yet again more room. I want it to sound crisp and last a while.

Suggestion was made for the Type R's - definitely a good sub for a budget. You can find a pair for $200 or so, pretty easily. Then you can get a good solid amp to back them up.

Alpine Type R's. Great sub for budgets.

There are quite a few box builders on this site that can build a box for you and have it shipped to your door..

if you're really on a budget.. i think the memphis power reference 12's would fit you perfectly.. they are only $75 a piece and i think they are great subs

then u can get an amp and box and your total would be around 425-475 for subs, box, amp
