is it possible to hook 3 of those together with a hiphonics 1500 mono amp? or is that too much i have 2 gage wiring and all but since i cant get 2 12's cheap i will get 3 10's

All you have to make sure is to buy the correct sub configuration to NOT fall bellow the amp's minimum rated impedance.

Yeah, the Hifonics is 1500w RMS @ 1ohm...

That means you must take the DUAL 2ohm...

3 of these will acheive 1.34ohms total.

Just make sure to get the DUAL2... NOT DUAL4...

And you'll be all set!

no get the 2 ohm ones for a final of 1.34. If you get the dual 4 you will have a final of 2.67 ohms. Less power. Get the 2 ohm

He can wire them to .66 ohms too (with dual 4 I mean). but your hifonics amp is gonna fry!

yep your screwed but if you buy another one can run them at a 2 ohm load
