3 fosgate HE2 10s for a bill?

Good deal or no? 3 HE2 10s in a sealed box for 100. 1 10 has small hole in cone, and a small tear half way threw the surround about an inch long. One has some small scuffing/light tearing on the cone/surround overlay and the 3rd is perfect.

Also is there an easy/good way repair these cones/surrounds so the subs will play for a while? Aside from just a bit of silicon

As for there use, trying to get louder then my ported 10in JBL. Was going to do 2 ported 8s, think 3 sealed 10s will get louder? Will be powered by a Memphis PRD1000.1

f yeah jump on that i cant find them anywhere. and if it comes down to it recone the other two and sell the one some "collectors" would pay 100 for just the one.

lol yea i hear there suppose to be pretty beast subs, i dont know if i want to port 2 of them or leave them in the sealed box. Its a custom built not prefab

well the enclosure itself might be worth it if its in mint shape.

so still gunna get me louder? For comparison i was going to do 2 SA-8's even though my builder is swearing up and down i should do 2 L7 8s. He also said this is 1/3rd this price of either of thoughs options and should yield about the same output

Heres them and the box, this box actually happened to be made for a dodge single cab //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/suave.gif.858fc102f7646e678ee8af7e1fbc41d1.gif so im in luck, its a direct drop into my truck. A few corners of carpet were coming up but it seemed to be a really solid box when i was checking them out earlyer. Another odd thing was, no screws holding the subs in. The rubber ring around the sub didnt even have holes in it, guessing it was glued in. I can still put holes in it later right? lol

If those have the same mounting type as these,you just pull the outer rubber ring back to reveal the mounting screws..

why, the hx2s are only 200wrms more. Im not going above 1000wrms, so wouldnt these be a better option for me

Who recones a 200rms sub? Look at the specs. They arent anything special by today's standards. Its a 10year old sub. Go buy some new Infinity References, they have the same qts and xmax and will handle 500wrms each.

I dont want to buy these then be mad i did. Im looking to be decently loud, not comp worthy but some nice bang. Im not too concerned about price, i just want to buy subs i will actually bang for a while, sound good, get decently loud

if they were in good shape, I would potentially run them ported as a low power SUPER BUDGET build at that price, but under other circumstances i would probabley pass

Yea i dont want to throw 100 bucks away on 10yr old subs that arnt even mint if a $60 infinity can keep up with it lol

I thought they were better then that i guess, but im gettin 2bills tomorrow and i need new subs lol another 135 is coming next week for my p6002
