3 channel amps?

I plan on buying one sub amp and one 2 channel amp for the front components. Is there any decent 3 channel amps out there that would give me 600-800 watts @ 2 ohms then 50-100 x 2 @ 4 ohms? I was thinking maybe the kx850.4 but could i bridge just 2 channels?

thats what i'd do, strong 4 channel and bridge the other two, can't do it at 2 ohms though =(

yep. not many four channel amps out there can be bridged to 2 ohms. one of them is a rockford t8004 and the t15004.

also if you got the money you can get a DLS A5 that will do 500 @ 2 ohms + 85 x 2 @ 4 ohms. whenever they come on the forums you can get it for 400 or so. but are hard to come by.

find a phoenix gold xenon x200.4. you can bridge it at 2 ohms and it will do 1 ohm stereo. it is beefy, don't let the 400 watt bridged rating fool ya. the 100w your fronts will get are no joke. either. run 0 or 2 ga with 120 amp fusing for this beast. they have been going for about 200-250 used on ebay.

zapco 6 channel amp. bridge 2 channels to each voice coil and use the other 2 to power the front.

I would look into the PG 200.4 200w x 4. gives 200w for the comps and 400w for the third channel for sub. stable to 2 ohms.

2x200 and 400x1 at any ohm

PPI 4125 or the new DCX1000.4(235 on ikesound). They do 500watts and i think they can bridge to 2ohms.

Id go with the A5 or the memphis belle...as others have mentioned. One of my friends has an older modle memphis belle (not as old as yours was Req) and its a pretty stout amp. And from the reviews and internal shots Ive seen from an A5...they look hard to beat also

On paper it seems as if the A5 is a little short on power from the 2 channels powering the fronts. Their whole line of 2 or 3 ways ultimate spaekers all have 100rms ratings. Wondering if anyone have used this to power a 3 way speakers in a pssive setup such as the dls UR36s or iridium 6.3's? I just want to have one amp as i dont ever plan on going active. I gues i can get the A7 and bridge the channels? how much more would i gain?
