3.5 mm 3-conductor vs. 4-conductor

I am installing my new JVC KW-V200BT in our RV, and want to connect the audio out from the RV TV into the A/V In jack on the rear of the unit. I am only using audio, so only need (and have on hand) an adapter from 3.5 mm 3-conductor male to two RCA female. Will it damage the unit to plug that into the 4-conductor jack designed for video as well as audio?

usually, the end tip of TRRS is video, so a TRS connector won't reach the video portion.

Thanks, keep, but on this JVC from Tip to Sleeve the pinout is Left - Right - Ground - Video. My fear is shorting out the JVC's video to ground.
