Looking for some options and opinions on a box for 3 18" HDC3's.

Was thinking of doing a 4th order since Ive never done one before, but dont know how the subs would like it... Ive got the room for it if I wall off behind the front seats....

Any opinions or box ideas on rough dimensions. I dont have a ton of height or width but Ive got lots of depth. Think I have 36" width - 30"height and like 54" depth....

Would a 4th order still rock out and murder the lows but play rock music well?? Aq's seem to have weird tuning preferences

AQs are gay.

But anyway, if youre going to do a 4th order make the box as big as possible. Try to do a flatwall in the very back with all the subs on the same face. Look for around 6.5-8 cubes sealed. Then go as big as possible ported. Build the port so that its got about 25-30in^ of port per cubic foot of ported air space. Tune to like 50hz and you should be jamming.

Im curious if the aq's even sound good in a 4th order myself, over straight ported anyways....

I dont quite understand the tuning of the ported chamber though. If I wanna make it a straight box with no odd shapes I have a max of 37" width and 31" height and like 48-50"depth. I could get alot more space if I made the box over the wheel wells and such, but wouldnt be nearly as easy to build or remove
