2xMX 12 vs 1 XXX 12 off 2000rms

k well how would 2 MX 12s sound off 1000rms each in a reccomended box vs a single XXX 12 in a rec box? im going for like 60/40 spl-sq so anythought i no the 2 mxs will be a lil more expensive but how much louder would they get then a single 12 xxx?

the 2 mx's should be alot louder to the ear since cone area is double

but the sq is the best with the xxx, i say that is a perfect setup for an xxx, i dont think the mx's will get that much power

MX's will be louder; double the cone area.... and if you're interested in SPL all you have to do is buy a bigger amp in the future.

ok ya my company is thinking about distributing re audio so we get a REALLY good price from them so budgets kinda secret lol. but its going in my 1997 Acura Rl in the trunk soo how would the SQ be on the 2 mxs in the right box

If your company is thinking about distributing RE, wouldn't you already be able to answer these questions yourself? You really dont know how to compare an MX to a XXX, and yet want to sell those speakers yourself?
