the date: August 12th
time: 1pm
which is why he = odd.
sure, we can have a ca.com meet...with stipulations as to who can come.
yes!!SPL plus a public park wont give us a window of opportunity to even get to hang out there long enough before we are booted. Its a meet, not a soundoff competition. However I dont mind who comes, as long as you come check out some systems, come with a good attitude and respect the park.
There are some bass heads who are looking to audition some good fronstages, nothing wrong with that. PeteNYC and 80inches made it to our NYC meet, and they are very good people and I'd like to have them at our meets anytime. Even they will agree that these type of meets are beneficial as you learn from listening to some of these cars and you take those positives into your own system planning/development.
In other words, no one cares how loud your system is- but it doesnt mean you cant come, show your install, audition some systems and learn a little about tuning, etc...
We attend this park often for these type of meets, most of our vehicles are very well deadned and we make very little noise if any at the parking lot we set shop at. As long as we can keep it quiet, and civil and not disturb others at the park its all good.
I welcome anyone who would like to check out some Sq systems, and feels they have something to show of their own, or heck even learn. We've had people show that have had no systems- just came to check out the scene and get ideas for their own cars.
I personally would like to meet some more of the forum guys, put a face to the name. Good times, its all about the music!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
dude...last time people came with their bass it ruined it for the rest of us (bass drowned out everyone's systems.....it it got annoying quick!)
we dont want people showing off how loud their system is......its about quality.
Im not the only one who feels like this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
if you have an SPL setup, you are welcome to come....just dont ruin it for everyone else

Just state that where you are showing off a bass truck wont be accepted. Or state it as an SQ meet. Dont say "no SPL guys"

And I'm not looking to offend anyone, heck theres a bass head in all of us- I love to crank my system all the time while driving. Its just that this park and area is not ideal for the open trunk/open hatch crank your system type of gathering....or just plain out loud music. And I KNOW how loud some of the systems out there can be, but then again its not the system itself, but the maturity of the person behind the knob. Not looking to piss anyone off rather just have a good time get a look at other's systems.
