A buddy of mine says it used to be around $150 a few years back ....

27007. No driver of a vehicle shall operate, or permit the

operation of, any sound amplification system which can be heard

outside the vehicle from 50 or more feet when the vehicle is being

operated upon a highway, unless that system is being operated to

request assistance or warn of a hazardous situation.

This section does not apply to authorized emergency vehicles or

vehicles operated by gas, electric, communications, or water

utilities. This section does not apply to the sound systems of

vehicles used for advertising, or in parades, political or other

special events, except that the use of sound systems on those

vehicles may be prohibited by a local authority by ordinance or

resolution.

I literally pressed play as soon as the cop pulled up next to me and the volume was full blast and my window was down he got startled and just looked straight at me and yelled "PULL OVER!" Hell even i got startled i didnt think the volume was all the way up

This actually happened to my friend 2 weeks ago, dumbas was at a red light and he got foothappy and started bruning out as a cop was turning the corner. Cop didnt do anything that lucky *******, lapd cops are forgiving with alot of things, glendale cops hell no theyre the strictest in the county i think

that *****, California is harsh on tickets period I think, at least it's what I hear, too bad you weren't here in vegas, you could have just gone down to where I go and pay $50 and the thing goes to a parking ticket.
