26mph over speeding ticket

oh yah the faster your going the worst it gets with insurance for all you speeders out their. watch go to geico or something put that you were going 110mph and go from say 200$ a month for insurance to 1000$ a month just for that one ticket. traffic school will clear them but i dunno about a 110 mph ticket LOL

Rightttttttttttttttttt! Dude I had 10 points on my DL and yes my insurance went up and I had to wait 3- 5 years for them to clear. When I had my 10 points I was driving in a brand new protege5. I mean each state is different and as well as insurance's, but for it to go up to 1000 some a month is not likley.

sounds like you may get your license suspended if you dont fight it. here in PA if you do 26 over you get a 3 month suspension. i know, its already happened to me. i was doing 90 in a 40. i should have fought it.

18 and got his 1st speeding ticket. Get ready to shell out a boat load of $$ for the insurance company cuz it's gonna go way up.

I've heard of people just going to court and having the judge knock off a couple MPH, especially if it's your first ticket. I'm hoping that this will happen. Paying the fine won't be a problem, I just need my truck for getting back and forth to college. My court date isn't until February, so hopefully I can get it figured out by then.
He also said that me attending court was not neccessary, is this a good sign that my license won't be suspended?

same happened to me in Cobb County Ga.. i was under 21 at the time... was doing 26mph over and it was my 2nd speeding ticket. they suspended my licenses for 6 months, i think 250$ fine and i had to take the driven defense school.. when i asked for a temp. licenses to get back and forth from college and work.. they said No, but said if i had gotton pulled over for drinking and driven i could have gotton a temp licenses...

yeah, being your 1st ticket, they can and prob will lower the amount of speed and you should be fine... just all depends on what mood the judge is in that day...

Hey bro for all my tickets i just paid the fine before the court date cause once you pay the fine you dont have to apear in court. it might be about a 190 dollar ticket though. but to get it to look good on your driving record i would say take an online driving course. The state your licenseed should knock off a few of the points you may have gotten for that ticket if u take that course.
