2500rms?

Not Italian designed no lol, They are made in Korea (XTR and HCCA), it's their own design. Crazy powerful amps
Yep, I heard they were built in Korea but I also heard they were designed by some Italian outfit. Cannot remember where I heard that but it seemed legit at the time. No bother, I'm happy either way.

I have two fi ib3s and I emailed FI about what's a realistic rms to throw at them. They said "I wouldn't put more than 1k to 1200" on one. So 2500 is exactly what I'm looking for. It's nice to know that there are 3ks out there but good prices but I'd be scared to put 1500 on each.

Tho recones are that much and I have full dsp control on the ssf.

u can set gain to whatever power u want.. did u see the brutal sound b2 dyno? 2300rms $349 super efficient..

i wouldn't worry about SSF unless you play modified rebassed music to the teens often. Literally no music gets anywhere moderately low with the bass nowadays. The best i've seen is 26hz in a few hip hop stuff. I bet you they claim that sh*t just because they assume you'll be playing rebassed cr@p. If you are playing normal music, i'd definitely just throw a 3.5k to them and keep the amp nice cool and efficient vs two months later you start regretting not getting more power.

Yea but I'm aware of how low and what digital level what I listen to is at. I'll def be looking to push the limits. I peak at 28hz so I'll find songs near or at 0db and that peak near 30.

But for daily I'll have a different dsp setting for balance.

That is a fair point but my subs are like 15hz to 44 hz and its a gigantic drop off on either side, like 20db at 70hz. Its really unfortunate and i honestly have no idea why its that small of a passband. So rebassed music is kinda what im stuck with now. I do have the subs inverted and facing the cabin so i could throw some power at them and see if i smell anything.

have you tried playing with phase adjustments(along with time alignment) for the sub on your mini dsp yet or even wiring the sub out of phase or reverse phase on both subs? Are you 100% sure that the rear deck is completely sealed up with no air or sound traveling back into to any crevice of the rear deck? Even just a small little hole can cause giant massive cancellation and kill your frequency response.

I wouldn't know how use phase adjustment. Biquads and apf are beyond me but I don't think it'd affect FR. And yes the rear deck is absolutely sealed off.

so i built the baffle to reinforce the sides that are just barely 1/8th of metal. everything inside the red line on the left is wood and mirrored for the right side as well. This means some 1/4 of the sub is firing directly into a flat wood "wall." im not sure if that would cause issues or not.

Look at post #3 and #10 . #3 was the response with 1 15 in. #10 is the response with two 15s in. If you look at #3 , you can see the midbass has a giant dip there as well. I've played with mic position and it does change to about 60 hz or so before it rolls of in the passenger seat. I believe its just a really bad 50hz cancellation node at the driver seat.

doesnt seem right, in many camrys there's a large peak at 50hz. Something's off with your phase or something else is causing cancellation.

I have no idea man. It's 100% sealed and mounted. Other than the 1/4 of the sub being locked off. Idk what else you think.
