$250 for a big mono amp. ( no junk plz )

I have re sx 18 d2

currently using hifonics bxi1206d - its ok.

but now its feeling like not enough power.

if you offer up lanzar / kole = I will kick you in the shins.

wanting to find 1800w or more up to 3K if its right,

as I can toss the sx and get a tc/storm or dd 18" that will handle 3K properly.

but I know I aint gona find it for $250

BUT

I still need to try out the sx on some cheep power.

feeding it its rms is good only for so long,

im needing more now

that series (1ohm stable) is made by a famous company but i cant say who.

I think the only strapable hifonics are the 2600 version.

about the desil, - realley 1 ohm stable ? its a class a/b

so are we talking 1 ohm stable on each channel / or bridged ?

cause that would be quite impressive a a/b class amp running bridged at 1 ohm

and being semi ok with it ( meaning not catching on fire )

for $20 more he could have the Kole PH1-5500 which has been benched at ~2500 at 1 ohm...which is what he is looking for...

u shouldn't have bashed lanzar. I've had many of their amps and am running 2 now and I can tell you they bang, HARD.

1ndatrunk may still have his amp. 2000wrms@1ohm for 200+ shipping. can't be that.

those kole's are the same as the spl and pa 5500's JUNK.im a authorized dealer for all those companys and more.ive seen my share burned up.

they only get put there when somebody has one and is willing to open it and take pics....SMACK

to clarify - I wasnt trying to say that every product lanzar makes is poopie.

lanzar has been in buisness since - what the early eightys ? they have to be doing

something right over there to stay in the game this long. what I am saying tho

is that I bought product from them, and it turned out to be crappy

sucks for me. im going to try and avoid that name brand. my personal choice.

im shure there are tons of ppl banging out there with lanzar. just not me.

and I got say, im still weary of the Kole / power acoustic / and even "crunch" and other weird / un known

name brands - as im not a dirty bass head. I like music to still sound musical.

distortion of sound from wich it was origonaly recorded to sound like is in my ears

a crime, and I just havent heard enough about theese lines to seem like I would like them.

maby I should man up and pick a used saz 1500 off of here

I havent heard any owners of a saz say anything bad about that amp.

I will say - my current hifonics sounds good to a point, but after that it starts to sound muddy and diffrent in my ears from what the sound is suposed to be like - and kinda turns to dirty muddy loud ghetto bass. nice if you wana let ppl know your coming up from 2 blocks away

but not musical to my ears. - maby im starting to go deff now.

JUNK? lmao....if they are improperly installed or abused yes any amp is gonna fry...a memphis 4k fried on retroaudio like a month ago....so yes i would never touch diesel or a 4k....too much of a current hog is that 4k....and about pa kole and spl...you know that PA bought out Soundstream right....so you would say soundstream is junk also? i know plenty of people who have used the 5500's and had 2k+ out of them on 12v systems....but then again i'm the "youngin" and you must not know OCS has been reported as scamming people also...
