Be careful with that amp, you'll pop those subs. Also that amp has 4 inputs, run splitters and plug all 4 rcas in. I know it sounds weird, but it makes it louder.

It's funny. I started out wanting a "budget" system. Spent 400$ for 2 subs and an amp. Then my sub stage overpowered my fronts so bad I had to upgrade my fronts to keep up and get a front stage amp too. And then I got used to the bass and wanted more, and upgraded some more. Then got sick of having loudness and went for SQ. My "budget" 400$ system has now cost me around 3000$ and I don't even have that great of a system. LOL. Good luck.

car audio is an addiction. thats why i always try and convince people to just go all out from the get go. once you get used to your system and you know theres better you want to upgrade and upgrade and upgrade. Might as well be patient and build a good system over time instead of wasting money on cheap stuff ha ha.....

i im guilty of being stupid and wasting money on sony xplod stuff when i first started. i worked at sears and it was all on clearance so i thought i was getting it cheap! ha ha

so went with plan B: I just bought a JBL BP300.1

400 watts RMS @ 2 ohms aint too bad for the Powerbase subs
