Thanks for all of the advice, guys. If I hadn't come here and asked around I wouldn't have known to look beyond the 90's mainstream brands that I remember from back in the day Probably would have been some Kickers + a JL Audio 1200.1.

-4 Sundown X-8's in 3.8 ft^3

-Taramps HD8000.1 @ 2 ohms (~5.23kW)

-Dual power runs of 1/0

-320A alternator

-Northstar AGM31

-CT Sounds remote bass knob w/voltmeter built in

I'm still in the break in period but so far it certainly hits louder and lower than my single self-amplified ported JL 10" did. Taking a trip to FL this week and should be able to get enough play time on the road to break it in.
