Hey All,
I'm hoping you can help me. I upgraded the stock audio system in my new 2011 Grand Cherokee. Went with the Pioneer 3200BT head unit and Polk db 691 (6x9) in the front and Polk db 651 (6 1/2) in the back. I have no amp connected to this setup.
The problem is that every time I use the system at volume levels above 18, I feel pressure in my ears. I've played with the EQ and can't seem to get to where it is comfortable to turn up the sound.
I initially upgraded to JBLs but had to take them out because the highs were making my ears literally bleed! I'm getting frustrated and am close to resetting the whole system back to stock.
Any ideas?
