2011 ford f250 Nav head unit with wifi

I'm getting my truck Monday and wanted to get a nice in dash navigation unit for it that would work with ford sync. I looked at Kenwood and now am looking at pioneers app radio version. Money isn't the issue here as I'm going to be paying for this truck for 6 years and want a nice system.

I like the sync to smartphone idea but it just seems as though there's no way to get a non throttled down version of the access to Google play with either of these units. I am leaning towatd kenwoods DNN990 but wanted some input from people before I shell out the money. Does ayone here have any experience with these high end double din units?

I personally have never used either, however reviews show the app radio to be awesome but still buggy. I personally would go the app radio once it becomes a bit more stable.
