2008 Ford Ranger - Stock Question!!!!

Does anyone know if there is anything extra that needs to be purchased for a stock head unit on a 2008 Ford Ranger to hook up an amplifier? Does it have RCA ports stock or do I have to buy a device for that?

doubt it has rca's...most stock hu's don't

Yea, I tried doing google searches, but I can't some up with anything. According to Crutchfield, it has a Pioneer system even in their base models, so I dont know and we haven't taken apart the dash yet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You just need an LOC. It does not have any RCA output.

i bought a rca thing that connected to the rear speaker wire and sent a 4 volt signle to the amps, it sounded like shit.
