2006: The Year In Retrospect...

Well the year is almost over. Thought I would give it its proper perspective, or at least for me. I have seen alot of changes this year in car audio. I went from a Eclipse hatchback to a Hundai Elantra. Quite a difference. I have seen a big upgrade from were I started this year to where I ended this year. Big improvement. I began the year joining this forum, maybe one of the best decisions I made all year. The info and help I have had has been great form so many people. Thanks all! This is the year I finally got a type R sub and it is great, as expected. We have see the imersion of what some people think is the greatest think since sliced bread. RAINBOW! I have never heard them, so I just settle with my Polks. I am very happy with them. We have seen Audio Assassins skyrocket in popularity. Many products that the average Joe have not heard of you will find here. RE, FI, IDQ, just to name a few. The big debate still continues and I suspect it will never end. Rear fill or no Rear fill. All in all it has been very educational for me. With the help of many, I now have not only a system that I love and sounds awsome, I am also proud of //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I have seen people on here with just amazing systems, far beyond mine, as well as the guys just wanting a little upgrade from stock. What will 2007 hold in store? I will be working a getting a nice system in a Ford Ranger. Who knows what we all ingauge in next year. I hope everbody here at the forum has a safe and prosporus new year.

Well, in 2006 I went from knowing nearly nothing about car audio to knowing about 1000x what I did before I joined.

I also have a system setup that sounds 100x better than my Pioneer BB subs and BB speakers

My keyboard is startin to shit out on me so sometimes a key doesnt work. an too lazy to go back and edit. Its now fixed

i switched equipment 3 times, learned everything from imaging to reputable brands to benefits of the littlest things (deadening, box position, box itself, etc) to learning how to fiberglass. alots happened this year with car audio, ive been tweeking and tuning for monthes on end, and this winter ive been building my first pretty amp rack.

next year i plan on deadening my whole ride, and maybe upgrade my head unit even further. alot of good info on here, and have used it to help alot of my friends too. great year, and i dont think ill be quitting anytime soon //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif
