I'm buying a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse in a few weeks. It has the Rockford Fosgate premium sound radio. I have heard it has an "Aux" function but no one has information on hooking up an iPod to it. From what I understand, the head unit has a DIN connector on the back (but no RCA inputs).
It appears that Metra does not have a kit for this and information is difficult, if not impossible, to get from Mitsubishi.
Is anyone familiar with this? Has anyone messed with this? Does anyone know the pinouts? Does anyone have a schematic?
In my old car, I had a hard-wired FM modulator connected to the antenna input and the results were less than spectacular.
