One day job. Took out the factory deck and front speakers. Wired in two amps, a set of components up front and a deck.

Pieces we used are:

Eclipse CD8445

CDT EF-51

Alpine MRV-F340 (running bridged)

Alpine MRD-M300

Infinity Perfect 12.1d

All the wiring is run under the carpet. 4awg to a fused distro block. 8awg to each of the amps.

Onto the pics!

The deck went in like a dream. This one is a real fun one to play with.

We managed to fit the speaker amp under the passenger seat. We had to grind a few brackets out of the way, but afterwards it was like the amp was made to fit there.

The sub box is 1.2cuft sealed. It's built to take advantage of the hump in the trunk of the mustang.

What about the car? I wanna see the car!
Also, would love to see any pictures of the speaker install. I am getting ready to have a system installed in my 06 Stang as well and would love to see the speaker pics as a sneak preview!

Oh and doesn't the 06 GT rock!?!?! VERY fun to drive.
do u have anything in yours? audio wise at all?

Nice work, man (especially for a 1 day install!!) Love the flush HU install. I can't stand decks that "stick out" of the dash like they don't belong there.

Read a comment about Infinity Perfect subs. Ugh... I've never heard a person who has actually listened to a properly set up Infinity Perfect .1 series have anything to say but praise. They are efficient, work great in super-small enclosures, reach lower than most subs (yea, RL-P included -- know it from personal experience), are linear as you can possibly hear, and nearly as accurate as a Type X sealed. There must be the crappers though.... no Circuit Shitty and Best Buy do not sell Infinity Perfect series.

Nice quick/clean install bud.

In response to equipment choice. I couldn't talk the guy out of the Infinity. We made a compromise and built the box to spec for a CDT HD sub, so as soon as he gets more money, that plus a better sub amp will go in.

We just shoved the speaker amp a little farther up underneith the seat. Foot space was a little cramped in the back. If you have a mustang just remember to attach the wires under the seat to the seat pan to give yourself clearence.

The speaker mounts were the only really tricky part other than getting power through the firewall.

I bought some 5x7 -> 5.25 adapter plates to fit the mid into. I then dremeled out a portion of the speaker bracket to slide the tweet into. It's a little off as far as the speaker screen on the door goes, but I just set the crossover to add +3 db on the high side and it sounds normal.

I mentioned the double din eclipse's, but he didn't want a screen. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
