2005 kicker L7 vs. 2008 kicker L7

hey, i have had a pair of 2005 kicker solo baric L7's for about 2 and half years now and the voice coil is coming unattached from the cone and is making an awful ratteling noise. i have a memphis 1100 D amplifier. If i got a new pair of 2008 kickers L7's could i use the same set up, meaning same box, amp wiring, sub wiring, etc., or would i have to change something if i got the new 2008's???

the parameters are different so i would build a new box. the 08s are awesome subs btw.. youll like them a lot better if you get them!

so i can wire them the exact same way as my 05's are wired? and if they dont fit in my box i have now ill just have to buy or build a new one

What do you have now? Dual 2 or dual 4?
