Also excuse the odd looking cutout. The top trim is actually perfect but the carpet wasn't cut out very clean. So it makes it look like I cut out the top trim drunk and in the dark. But once I cleaned it up its flawless.

PLus look at that I call this a close fit lol

yeah I know that the port should be close to the loading wall. I know that lol. But like I said the port is just fine for my open port. But for the daily port its just fine. I really don't want to have a port unloading all the air right at the side of my face. lol It works perfectly
no, what i am sayin is it should not be as close to that wall!

what is the measurments of your port and how deep does it go into the box?, then how high is the internal hieght of the box?

but looks good.

lol. And I know what and how the port should be. I think after driving around for the day with the open port running I may just keep it that way. Its got enough low end that it works just fine with gain settings down low. but yeah. Can someone give me the depth of ports that I would need. I cant figure it out lol. I need the depth figure for my port to re-tune if I want to later down the road. the port like I said is 18x6 and I want to know what size depth I would need to make that tuned to 38 40 and 45 htz. the airspace is currently 8.124 cubes. looking for those port tunings. I can get additional port depth in there by doing a 90 in there.

When you meter, just turn the stereo up loud enough to see what you peak at. You find this out by doing a sine sweep. Once you find what you peak at, use that tone whatever it maybe 40hz, 42hz, or whatever. Then meter with that. When you turn your shit up all the way and do a sine sweep, you will have wasted so much of your electrical before you even get to your peak area..... So you only turn it up loud enough for the term lab to pick it up.
