2004 Audi A4 setup question-need help!

hey all, i just installed my Alpine headunit along with my JL 12W6 and 250 watt amp into my Audi. The only problem is an incredibly annoying whine from the rear speakers which are run through the factory amplifier. The fronts(run off the deck) are also much quieter than the rears. So now I am told I need to buy speakers and a 4 channel amp to solve this. Is this the best way to approach this problem? Fading to the front doesn't help the whine at all and even when the volume is at 0 it still whines.

If I have to buy new speakers, is it a good idea to put 2 ways in the back to replace the factory components? What size are my speakers and what brand/model of speakers are good ways to go, keeping a low budget in mind. Thanks a lot for the help!

You have a bad ground somewhere or a ground loop. Check your ground on that amp to make sure its solid and tight. Running your power wire with your RCAs and REMOTE can also cause that whine. RCA and REMOTE should be run on the opposite side of the power wire. If you still have it go to radioshack or some electronic store and get a ground loop isolator.

ive got the same problem as you, What you need to do is take your car to a auto electrician(or if you can do it your self even better) buy some performance sparkplug leads and replace the ones that you have now(which will be the standard spark plug leads). This shuld fix your problem,
