2002 Ford Explorer XLT

I want to install a Pioneer Premier DEH-P690UB in my Explorer. What do I need besides a mounting kit? I'm a newbie at this so please "dumb down" your replies. Thanks!

Harness plug and a mounting kit will get it in the dash and working. How far you go from there is up to you.

Thanks for the reply. Someone told me I might need a gmrc plug in addition to/instead of the harness plug. Glad to know the harness plug is all I need.
