I would save 500 a month for the next 10 months then sell your cav drop 7k down on any ride you want orrr if you don't have a job or don't want payments just spend that 7k on a way nicer ride. Just my .02

I'm normally a conservative and think-ahead person and my personality tells me to do exactly that.

But I want a nice lookin' ride asap.

Well just tint it and put some wheels on it and that'd be an easy not to expensive mod that would make it look alot nicer.

500 maybe for the wheels, and no carbon fibre spoiler in fact no spoiler at all it's pointless tacky and just dumb. As for explaining how to make it fast, no I don't want to explain to a first grader how to do the amount of work it would take and it won't be cheap neither, look for some cavalier forums.

I'll probably still get the spoiler. I'm about 70% leaning towards getting some sort of spoiler. Was thinking of spoilers like the image below:

Why would you remove the stock wing leaving holes in the trunk lid then drill more holes in your trunk to add something really dumb looking like that, first your car is front wheel drive second you don't have anywhere near enough horse power to require that gigantic of a wing third it's cheesy looking

I don't like how small the spoiler is on there. It's hardly even noticable. I wouldn't be putting a spoiler on there for performance, but for appearance.

Haha well I've got 'till March-April before I even start doing window tins/rims/smoke the lights/anything else. My first thing is putting $600 towards a system of some sort.

How much do a good set of HIDS and lowering springs run for?

I'd smoke the HIDS anyways.

I bought an hid kit ballasts and bulbs for 46 bucks shipped from ddm tuning but you can prolly find retro fitted projectors for your car for 300 or so and springs are prolly between 200-400. I'm hoping to steer you away from the big dumb wing

Tint, rims/tires, HIDs, and a system would be fine like everyone else said. Dont do ANY more than that. Remember it is just an economy car made to get people around cheaply. The more you do to it, the stupider you look. I honestly would just save up though and get something nicer.

EDIT: Off topic, but wow that Escort up there has got to be one of the stupidest looking cars I have seen in a while.
