2001 Durango ENCLOSURE HELP!!!!!!!

I need help with this enclosure. I have 1 18'' DC lvl 4 with lvl 5 softparts power by a planet audio 2400.1. I built my enclosure 44''w x 26''h x 21''d with a port 42.5''w x 14''h x 6''d. Well of course it sounds like the SUB is getting 2 much air. I know the port has 2 be 2 big. Could any1 help me get this enclosure to fit the SUB because i know it has alot of potential well more than what im hearing now.

Uhh.. If that isn't a typo and your port is really the width of the box x 14 inches.. Your box is roughly tuned at ~70hz... =No bueno

What do u suggest for a box that size....the sub and port are both facing up.

Agreed, that is a horrible enclosure for daily at least.

Maybe he mixed up the numbers for the port calculation? height number for length? lol
