2001 4dr GMC Jimmy Tweeter install help

I have a 2001 4dr GMC Jimmy with a 6 speaker stock system. The stock tweeters are located on the dashboard and aimed at the windshield and towards the center, I am sure this is no optimal so I was wondering if anyone has experience on where to place after market tweeters, thanks in advance.

Door panels, mine are located in between door handle and edge of door.

I would think that they would sound the best on the dash or pillar, but where exactly and where to point them I am not sure of.
