I'm not sure about 2000's, I know about the 1999's and back, after that they changed everything. DSMs are great cars (pre 2000).

What are you going to do about it? Come on man, its the internet, let it go. Making yourself look just superbly huge isnt going to help things along. Just offering you some advice. It's not like your going to hunt down those guys and get your *** kicked. Please, just saving you the trouble...not being an *** or anything, rather, helping you out

Anyways, I would get a hold of that Import Tuner or whatever its called site and go from there. Browse through this section of the forum, some guy posted a link with everything to do with Imports on it a while back.

Screw the exterior: just do rims and lower it alittle. put the rest of your money into the engine and performance of the car. theres too many people with cracked body kits and not enough go. go for performance and dont be a show boat, you'll get enough attention when kick the crap out of people in a drag race.

couldnt put it better myself put money into the engine no nos or any of that shit do upgrades for it supercharge cams headers etc.....

Looks arent the key. They make ya look like a dumb "ricer" and draw more attention to yourself from the cops and law enforcers. I'd just go with a nice set of 18" racing rims and lots of engine work. Soon as ya get a turbocharger on there work on the stereo and such. Nothin like a stock looking car smokin the same type of car with nothin but a body kit. It happens far to much.

putting money into one of the new Mitsu Eclipse's engine is like trying to get a deaf kid to hear. It's hopeless. Sorry man, but you're never going to get any real serious performance out of it, because there is no aftermarket support. Mitsu never sold that car in Japan, where all of the good parts are made, and all of the cheap parts are copied from.

so, if i were you, i'd get some rims, and just put a slammin system in it. It's never going to be fast.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but someone had to do it.
