2000 Olds Alero build for a buddy

What the FUK does it matter if he used ducttape under the carpet to kep the wire in place? Are you fukin retarded that you would actually mention that. And did you actually read what he wrote where he says he will fix the **** wiring when he gets the car back? Or are you still **** retarded
Im no fan of tony the tiger either, but I keep my mouth shut

Nice install dude, curious how you cut out the carpet so cleanly in that square for the stain
Thanks, wish people would read. Just "ripped" the carpet with a straight edge to the width I needed. It’s a lot easier to trim it when its off the box, then when its on. He wants to jump my shit, for wiring up the amp temporarily and there are build on here that all the wires are exposed and considered "done". Jump on there shit for half assing it, and not me.

I only skimmed over your build for pics because I have a friend with an alero and I was seeing what could be done, so no I didn't read, my bad. But like I said, there isn't a need for that much hostility over simple constructive criticism and an honest mistake.

I wasn't trying to cut your work down if that's what you're getting at. I'm aware of how sloppy most installs are on this forum.

I only bothered skimming over the shit, so I didn't read that. There isn't any need to get defensive over it, all I said is there was room for improvement. If I was trying to rag on it I wouldn't have even called it clean.
Only reason I got upset, was cause I clearly stated that it will be cleaned up. I am not one to half *** anything. I didn’t want to just rush and finish things up but he needed the car back, and figured its better to leave it and ill pick up were I left off. No offence. I will be building an amp rack, but there isnt any since doing so untill the SAZ-1000D and SAX-50.4 are here.

Its fine, you are entitled to your opinion, as am I. Its not a big deal really. Good luck with your friends Alero.

Thanks

Who cares about duct tape, hurry up and get a vid up of the sub already! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Where will you be building the amp rack? Floor or sides of the trunk? I haven't seen many aleros with clean custom installs, just a lot of pre-fabs stuff.
Have not desided 100% yet, either in drivers side wheel well area or behind the box. Will play around with some ideas when he drops it off so I can install the SS. Yea, i have not seen alot of installs done in Aleros but I am guess its because there are not alot of "younger" people with Oldsmobiles.

Didnt plan on posting these vids, because my digital cam doesnt pick up flex worth shit. The only flex it picked up was the stuff that flex alot, and it didnt even pick that up that good. I will get better vids (purchased a new camera) when he drops the car off.

The start of his new sub, RE Audio HC.
