2000 Jimmy stock bose system?

ok so this kidn i know wants to hook up subs to his stock bose system on a 2000 jimmy, I was thinking I could run one of those line converters patched from the deck outputs but I Was wondering if the harness coming from the bose system is any differnt fronm the one on the non amplified deck? or should I try running the speaker wire from after the factory amp? and does anyone know where I could run the power wire through the firewall?

run a LOC after the amp... some LOCs will allow you to get signal behind the radio of a bose system... but most need the signal after the amp...

okie, what about remote turn on?
