2000 Honda Insight owner

I got a 2000 Honda Insight recently and I'm looking to repair or replace the CD skipping Sony Xplod with an all digital receiver. I don't understand why there aren't a ton of these. Since most everyone has their music on computers these days it makes so much sense to have everything on SD or USB and avoid the weight and mechanical problems of a CD but the choices are limited to cheapo junk or very high end. I hope that'll change soon.
